Goals
To use a combination of the Federal Tax Incentives, State Incentives and Local Incentives to redevelop the designated Empowerment Zone Area’s capacity to create good paying jobs, encourage private investments that sustain opportunities in the Zone, establish a base support for quality education and increase commercial development.
Strategy
Launch a marketing strategy that is based on the Tax Incentive Utilization Plan. The desired outcome of the strategy will be to attract major new development in the Zone and make the Zone a prime location for new investors to locate their businesses and encourage current and future workers to locate their families.
